FINALLY OPEN!
It's been a long winter and we're happy to have the doors open and lights on!
Come check out the board room and see how the boards are hangin' in there. We've got a great stock of fish, fun, long, short, and stand-up boards.
The water is warming up quick, so pick up your Billabong or Excel 3/2 full or spring suit and catch the spring swells.
We're carrying some new lines this season–Element, Split, Ezekiel, Lucy Love, and Honolua Surf Co.–all a great compliment to Reef (now also carrying women's apparel and swim), Billabong, Sanuk, and others.
Our skate wall is filling up quick with skate equipment arriving daily. We carry all of your favorite brands, plus Bridge Skateboards from longtime Sandbridge local David Dennis.
Stop in and check us out on your way to the beach or to get in a good paddle before summer.
MAY 3- Little Island in Sandbridge
The 'Sticks and Staches' contest to benefit the American Cancer Society went on without a hitch. The waves were tiny, but Local Movement raised a lot of money and a good time was had by all.

April 29th: We are shooting to be OPEN this Saturday!!! Come down to the Sticks & 'staches surf contest and stop in and check out our new digs.
APRIL
11th: Okay, it is now into April and the store is almost open... we've
been waiting all winter and over the next three weeks will finally
start moving in wall systems, racks, art and all the goods. We have
room for over 60 boards: short, fish, fun, long, and stand ups. New
clothing lines have been added and we'll have a section for
rollerbladers... just kidding. The skate wall will include decks,
wheels, trucks, grip, hardware and more for all you dirty south skate
punks. We'll keep you posted...
FEB 08: Our Sandbridge store is currently under construction and should be open the end of March. We are still doing business in the back building with great deals on surfboards, wetsuits and hardgoods and our Norfolk store is stocked for all your surf and skate needs.
Aaron Taylor has relocated out west and has crossed paths (but wasn't aware of it) with long ago Sandbridge local Keith Bybee. Aaron in his 20's and Keith in his 40's are both still groms at heart and always in the water.
